The investment objective of the Subfund seeks to provide an above average income and stable capital growth over the medium term and when deemed appropriate employs capital protection. The Subfund seeks to maximize the total return of a well-diversified multi-asset portfolio. In order to achieve this goal the Subfund employs a dynamic and flexible strategy aimed at providing income and stable capital growth, by investing globally in the full spectrum of permitted investments including equities, equity-related securities, fixed income, transferable securities, units of undertakings for collective investments, cash, deposits and money market instruments. Currency exposure is flexibly managed. In addition, the Subfund may, for the purpose of (i) hedging, (ii) efficient portfolio management and/or (iii) implementation of its investment strategy, use a wide range of listed and/or OTC derivatives in order to execute long and/or short positions.
