The objective of the Sub-Fund is to track, before the Sub-Fund fees and expenses, the performance of Solactive Candriam Factors Sustainable Sovereign Euro Bond Index (the “Benchmark”). The Benchmark and the Sub-Fund are constructed by selecting the best sovereign issuers based on Candriam’s proprietary ESG analysis. Candriam’s sustainable investing selection process retains countries which are well equipped to manage their human, natural and social capital and provide economic stability, and which are not considered as highly oppressive regimes The portfolio of the Sub-Fund is highly diversified and will usually contain more than 40 bonds issued by more than 8 different countries.
