The Platform Group AG: Expansion of French luxury marketplace

Düsseldorf, 17 July 2025. The Platform Group AG (ISIN DE000A2QEFA1, “TPG”), a leading software company for platform solutions, has successfully completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Joli Closet Paris, France. Joli Closet is a platform for pre-owned luxury products in the fashion, handbags, shoes, and watches sectors. Over 220,000 products are listed on the platform, with an average shopping cart value of EUR 750. Several thousand retailers sell their products via the platform, with quality and authenticity checks carried out by the company's own employees in Paris.

As of August, the platform offerings of fashionette, Winkelstraat, and Chronext will be linked to JoliCloset. As a result, the vintage luxury products segment will contribute significantly to sales growth at The Platform Group AG in the future. The joint platform activities will focus in particular on luxury watches, handbags, and clothing. The strongest brands in the future platform connection are Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Christian Dior, Chanel, and Hermès. In addition, there are plans to significantly expand the optics segment at Joli Closet with the brands Fendi, Loewe, D&G, Chanel, and Prada.

We aim to increase the current volume of offerings on the platform by at least 50% in the future, enabling profitable platform sales together with fashionette, Winkelstraat, and Chronext. The watch and eyewear segments in particular will make significant contributions to earnings in the future.”
