AEVIS VICTORIA SA - Swiss Medical Network publishes 2024 results and confirms the strength of its integrated care model
AEVIS VICTORIA SA
/ Key word(s): Annual Results
PRESS RELEASE Swiss Medical Network publishes 2024 results and confirms the strength of its integrated care model Genolier, 24 March 2025 – Swiss Medical Network (SMN) closed the 2024 financial year with consolidated gross revenues of CHF 812.2 million, up by 5.6% compared to 2023. Net revenue reached CHF 684.9 million (+5.6%). EBITDAR amounted to CHF 113.9 million, representing 16.6% of net revenue, an increase of 6.7%. Good start to 2025 driven by organic growth and acquisitions In the first two months of 2025, consolidated gross revenue amounted at CHF 175.1 million and net revenue at CHF 141.3 million, an increase of 24.7% compared to the same period last year. This includes estimated organic growth of 4%, and mainly the integration of Spital Zofingen and CentroMedico, which were consolidated as of January 1st. These two new entities, although still in the optimization phase and whose profitability is below the group average, are already making a positive contribution to the consolidated result. « These results demonstrate the relevance of our long-term vision: to integrate inpatient and outpatient care into a smooth, coordinated, and patient-centered pathway. The rapid expansion of our ambulatory network is temporarily diluting the Group’s profitability, but it is a strategic investment in view of the uniform financing of health services and the broad implementation of integrated care in Switzerland. », says Fabrice Zumbrunnen, Delegate of the Board of Directors of Swiss Medical Network. Integrated care: tangible results in the Jura Arc and Ticino The integrated care strategy is delivering measurable success, particularly in the Jura Arc (via the Réseau de l'Arc) and in Ticino. Through coordination between hospitals, medical centers, general practitioners and local partners, the group ensures coherent, economical and efficient patient care. This approach has allowed VIVA Insurance, developed jointly with Visana, to keep its premiums unchanged in 2025, while the majority of insurers have seen their premiums increase. The number of people insured in the Jura Arc has risen significantly to over 3’200. Outlook 2025: a clear goal, a changing network Swiss Medical Network reaffirms its ambition to become the leading integrated care network in Switzerland and is working on expanding into new regions, notably in the Canton of Aargau starting in 2026. Additionally, it is focusing on the development of outpatient care, a crucial strategic step on the path towards uniform financing of health services. About Swiss Medical Network Swiss Medical Network is one of the two main private groups of clinics and hospitals in Switzerland. With 21 clinics and hospitals, over 70 outpatient centers, 5’000 employees, and more than 2’300 physicians practicing in 15 cantons, the group covers the entire medical spectrum, manages listed and contracted hospitals, and treats more than 1.2 million patients annually. A pioneer of integrated care with the VIVA project, the Réseau de l’Arc has become the first integrated care organization in Switzerland, now accessible to a large portion of the Jura Arc inhabitants. Early 2025, the launch of VIVA in Ticino and Rete Sant’Anna extended this model, strengthening the group's commitment to coordinated and accessible care for everyone in Switzerland. Swiss Medical Network Holding is a 77%-subsidiary of AEVIS VICTORIA SA, listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. Press contact :
