Private Equity Holding AG: Net Asset Value as of May 31, 2025
Private Equity Holding AG
/ Key word(s): Net Asset Value
NEWS RELEASE Zurich, June 12, 2025 Net Asset Value as of May 31, 2025 As of May 31, 2025, the Net Asset Value (NAV) per share of Private Equity Holding AG (PEH) stood at EUR 156.76 (CHF 146.38), representing a change of -1.1% in EUR (-1.0% in CHF) since April 30, 2025. In May, PEH’s portfolio performance experienced some headwinds from valuation adjustments across several direct investments and funds as well as adverse FX movements. While there have been positive valuation adjustments in some of PEH’s portfolio funds - most notably Eagletree IV, Procuritas VII and Left Lane II - the negative effects outweighed these gains. The portfolio was cash-flow positive with total distributions amounting to EUR 3.2m vs. EUR 2.0m paid into the portfolio. A distribution of EUR 2.1m came from Eagletree III's sale of ALM Media's Legal Division to Law Business Research. Further, Warburg Pincus XII distributed proceeds from various transactions, including the sale of Modernizing Medicine, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based, SaaS electronic medical record solutions to the dermatology and gastroenterology specialties. The AGM of PEH will take place on June 24, 2025. The invitation with the agenda items has been sent to registered shareholders and can be found at https://peh.ch/en/investor-relations/agm. *** Private Equity Holding AG (SIX: PEHN) is a listed investment company for private equity investments. For further information, please contact: The basis of the Net Asset Value Calculation and Disclaimer The number of outstanding shares used for calculation of the Net Asset Value per share amounted to 2,449,045 as of May 31, 2025 (April 30, 2025: 2,446,687). The calculations are prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and pursuant to the guidelines of Invest Europe (formerly known as the European Venture Capital Association). The valuations of the fund investments are based on the most recent reported net asset values (NAVs) of the funds. In estimating the fair value of unquoted direct investments, Private Equity Holding AG considers the most appropriate market valuation techniques. The fair value of listed direct investments is the market value. The NAV of Private Equity Holding AG is calculated at the end of each month under a going concern assumption. The different reporting cut-off dates of the individual companies and funds in which participations are held can lead to short-term distortions and cause discrepancies between the published NAV and the actual total value of Private Equity Holding AG's net assets.
