Pacira BioSciences Appoints Laura Brege As Chair Of The Board
(RTTNews) - Pacira BioSciences, Inc. (PCRX), a provider of non-opioid pain management and regenerative health solutions, Thursday announced that Laura Brege has been appointed Chair of the Board.
Brege has over a decade of experience in the company with three decades of experience in executive management. Brege has worked at companies such as BridgeBio Pharma, Inc., Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and COR Therapeutics, Inc.
Former Chair Paul J. Hastings and Andreas Wicki have retired from the Board.
In connection with these changes, the Board has also revamped committee assignments and appointed Alethia Young to succeed Brege as Chair of the Audit Committee.
The Board now has nine directors, eight of whom are independent, including five who have joined since October 2023.
In the pre-market trading, Pacira BioSciences is 1.81% higher at $26.50 on the Nasdaq.
