q.beyond underlines pioneering role in introducing AI technologies

Cologne, 14 August 2025 – IT service provider q.beyond is further expanding its portfolio of AI solutions and services. To this end, it is stepping up its cooperation with partners such as Microsoft and SAP, as well as its own development activities. In spring 2025, q.beyond was already one of the first companies in Europe to present a local and sovereign generative AI platform in the form of its “Private Enterprise AI”. This platform, which has encountered great interest in the market, processes company data in a dedicated and protected private cloud based either at customers’ own data centres or at q.beyond’s certified high-security data centres.

q.beyond has now achieved “Prioritized Tier” status in the “Microsoft Copilot Jumpstart” partner programme, the highest level of designation in this programme. This means that q.beyond is one of few exclusive partners whose expertise and success in implementing the AI-supported assistant has been highlighted by Microsoft.

Expertise in consulting on and in developing and implementing AI applications

“This designation underlines q.beyond’s position as a leading digitalisation partner to medium-sized companies”, comments q.beyond’s CEO, Thies Rixen, and adds: “Our expertise in consulting on and in developing and implementing AI applications enables companies to press ahead with digitalising their businesses on a self-reliant and sovereign basis.” In this, q.beyond works together with customers to compile individual use cases which create genuine added value.

The new “OnePhoneBook Agent” offers one example of this kind of added value. The internally developed AI-based agent is seamlessly integrated into “Microsoft 365 Copilot” and enables users to search using natural language for contacts in linked sources such as CRM and ERP systems or other contact databases. Furthermore, e-mails can be drafted and sent to these contacts directly from the Copilot environment, also in natural language. However, use of the new agent is not limited to the Microsoft environment. It can also be connected to further generative AI systems, such as SAP Joule, in order to create a continuous AI-supported work environment across hybrid system boundaries.

Strategic lever for productivity and transformation at SMEs

With the launch of the “OnePhoneBook Agent” and its designation as a “Prioritized Tier” partner, q.beyond is further expanding its leading position in introducing AI technologies. Together with his excellent team, Alexander Hartmann, the member of q.beyond’s management responsible for this area, is pursuing an ambitious target: “We aim to establish Copilot not just as a tool, but rather as a strategic lever for productivity and transformation among German SMEs and beyond.” The Prioritized Tier status marked an important milestone on this path.

As a Prioritized Tier partner, q.beyond benefits from direct access to Microsoft’s Copilot teams, strategic support, and rollout acceleration promotion opportunities. q.beyond works on a similarly close basis with SAP when it comes to introducing Joule, the AI co-pilot with an integrated AI agent offered by the German software group.
